Our guest today has lived a pretty incredible life and has quite a story to tell. He's a retired lieutenant from Texas law enforcement, spent time working as a private contractor supporting law enforcement, and these days he's living the life of a full-time working cowboy. On top of that, he's a husband, a father, a professional speaker, and an author.
Born and raised in Texas, Sam eventually retired and made the move to Colorado, where he's enjoying ranch life while still making time for RV adventures, riding motorcycles, and hiking whenever he can.
We actually came across Sam on Instagram, where he shares these honest, encouraging, and uplifting reels that really caught our attention. He's also working on a new book called The Broken Fence, and we're looking forward to hearing more about that today.
