Kirk Smally has one of the most inspiring and heart-wrenching stories we have had the honor of hearing here at Christian Outdoors. Kirk is the founder of Stand for the Silent, a non-profit he began after his 11 year old son took his own life due to bullying in school. Kirk and his wife took this pain and used it to help others who are dealing with this horror.

He has spoken to more than four million youth about the effects of bullying, and travels extensively to share his message. If you have children, you will want to hear this show. The statistics he shares are staggering and heartbreaking. More than 60,000 children have taken their own lives in the past seven years directly due to bullying. Kirk is committed to preventing the pain he feels for others.
